HellspawnOfHalo rates this game: 5/5 Resident Evil 2, known as Biohazard 2 in Japan, is a great sequel to one of the greatest survival horror games of all time, if not the best survival horror game of all time. Following the disaster of the series of events that took place in the Spencer Mansion in the Arklay Mountains, you play as rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy on his first day on the Raccoon City Police force. Too bad for him, his first day consists of surviving a zombie apocalypse! The plot isn't considered the best, but I love a zombie story with a good conspiracy! One thing to note, if you're looking for quality voice acting, look beyond the first 3 games.

The voice acting was about what you'd see in a b-movie or an '80s anime. While that may seem bad, it adds its own level of charm to the game, giving it a little more character due to its age. What makes this game so great is that the controls, while today seeming horrid, were very interesting in what they actually did for the gameplay. Back then they were so clunky that you felt an accentuated amount of tension just because it took almost an entire second just to turn around and run away from the zombies! I've still yet to beat this game, but I plan on working more on it in the near future.
