Did you play the last SRW game? SRW J, it rocks, excellent animation, Mazinkaiser!!!!!!, boss borot is more badass than ever, full metal panic rocks and the best of the best, Bonta-kun!!!, fumofumofumo!!!, you have to love the when uses his ultimate attack: a combination of attacks with the help of six MP black bonta-kun Havn't played it yet, but it looks so good! I mean, Bonta-kun > Everything else. I must say Banpresto really hit the spot with this one.

I mean, they finally featured FMP, which I was always hoping they would include. And Bonta combination attack looks so cute/cool:D.

I'm still trying to finish SRW J, the game isn't hard but have like 60 stages, brain powered rocks big time, that teleport thing it have makes them even harder to hit. The original units are some of the best i even saw, all of them have orgone cloud (1000 barrier and bunshiin/afterimage, it's the original equivalent of zeorymar and the brains teleport thing) and small EN regen after get their upgraded form, totally badass. Granteed (super robot) can tank quite well, great damage output, short and long range attacks. >>Looks like we're the only local fans of SRW, so sad Yeah, seems like it.:( I thought maybe there might be more people who actually played SRW before.

Anyhow, my favourite SRW series is the Alpha series. I first played Alpha when I borrowed it from a friend, then borrowed Alpha Gaiden from him too. Then, I played Impact (when I got my PS2), which I quit around at episode 80 since it was so long compared to the other SRW games. After about a year, I got Alpha Second, and I'm still playing it, trying to finish everyones storyline. After that, I'm planning to get Alpha Third. You're Lucky, i only have SRW 3, SRW 2G, all the GBA ones and shin/neo I don't have playstation 2:( Impact is so long because is the remake of SRW compact 2-1, 2-2 ans 2-3, obviously being the compilated and enhanced version of 3 games makes it the longest SRW to the date. Some says that impact the hardest SRW of the new generation, being SRW 3 and 4 the hardest of the entire saga.

SRW 3 final stages are hand as hell!!!, in the scenario i played i had to face lots of strong units, three inspector bosses, reinforcements in the form of Scirocco (Z gundam evil dude) using the valcion!!! And Sara (maybe i'm wrong with her name) using Scirocco's old 'the O', and after beating all of them the leader of the inspectors, the great, always smiling, Wendolo and his uber original mech the Dikastes, and after beating them in certain number of turns (what i did), i had to face Shuu in his Neo-granzon in the secret stage, Ragnarok, and he's not alone, two valcions were helping him. The old SRW are very hard for some resons: in the case of SRW 2,3 and i think EX you can't choose to defend/dodge/choose counterattack individually, you can only tell to all to dodge, defend, etc. Printer Most of the final enemies (including grunts) have double turn (like using the move again seishin),most of your super robot units needs to be at lv 70-80 to get double turn. Final bosses likes to concentrate in the destruction of a specific unit, and as they have double turn a single boss can kill two reals or a super easily. You can only have 255 en as max en capacity.
